Before We Get Gathered

There is an article concerning what makes the youth of America happy. Spending time with family, with friends, or a significant other were the top choices. In fact, 65% of those surveyed say they’re happy with the way things are going for them. Happiness is being glad, joyous, satisfied, pleased, or blessed. The Bible addresses what should make one happy or blessed.
Proverbs 3:13:
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that
getteth understanding.
Job 5:17:
Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the
discipline of the Almighty. [NIV]
Psalm 1:1:
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the
ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the
scornful.
Psalm 32:1 and 2:
Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are
covered.
Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against
him, and in whose spirit is no deceit. [NIV]
Psalm 33:12:
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and

Psalm 119:2:
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that
seek him with the whole heart.

Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh
in his ways.
Proverbs 20:7:
The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his
children after him. [NIV]
No matter your age, get a Bible, read it, do it, and be happy!
