Before We Get Gathered
Number 42: March 25, 2006
The official opening of the Colorado Springs Outreach Center is slated for Sunday, March 26th. All are welcome to come and participate in the service. Prayer is being made around the clock in preparation for the 10:30 AM fellowship. The building was dedicated on Tuesday, March 7th.
The three purposes for the outreach center are:
1. To glorify and magnify God
2. To teach the accuracy of God’s Word
3. To demonstrate the power of God
With a goal toward God’s Word over the world in this area of the country. If the Lord Jesus Christ should tarry, it will be a bridge to the next generation who will stand on God’s rightly divided Word and keep it alive until Christ does return, or is passed on to the next generation.
Mark 16:15-20:
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
[If] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
