Fight the Right Fight
It starts with you taking an inventory of you!
Acts
Ephesians
12 Our fight is against more than terrorists. We
fight the cause behind the actions, our
fight is against Satan and his evil network. He still is after the
things and the people of God. One of His primary goals is stop the
movement of the Word of God. He will use all the weapons and all the
people that are at his disposal. We have to combat him spiritually.
13 Every day there is evil. It takes us putting on
the whole armor of God to stand against it and for God.
II Corinthians 10:3-5 This
fight is not a senses fight. Our spiritual weapons are mighty
though, through God. You are in control. You have to bring every
thought captive to the will of God. The power of God can only be
released after you bring your mind into obedience to the things of
God.
Ephesians 6:14-18
Verses 17 and 18 tell us what
are mighty spiritual weapons are: the Word of God and prayer.
Prayer in the spirit and with our understanding.
Hebrews
We need to believe what the written Word of God
says about ourselves and about life: this life and eternal life. We
need to pray fervently and watch, stand guard in prayer, for all of
God’s people, His children, and for specific situations.
I Timothy 2:1-6 One God! Too many want to worship
man as God.
Christ is still our message to the world. It is
Christ who will bring the peace and comfort that is needed. Each one
needs to win one for Christ.
We need to pray specifically for the clear
headedness and wisdom that our leaders need so they can follow the
right course, God’s course, which will lead to us leading a quiet
and peaceable life.
There are many records in the Old Testament where
God’s people were under attack from people who were working for the
wicked one. However, when God’s people turned to Him, He delivered
them. Many times they were told to just stay out of the way and
watch what God would do on their behalf.
II Kings 19:32-37 God did all the work. There was
no loss of life at all. Imagine how much money was saved on war
supplies, government contracts, food and water, the clean up of the
rubble, man hours that were saved from not having to leave the
fields to go fight a war. Money that was not needed from the war
effort, could now be utilized to magnify
God and bless His people.
War demands and requires the best young men and
women of a nation to be sacrificed on the altar of the lust,
selfishness and greed of others.
God had preserved for us many great examples in
the Old Testament of how He took care of His people when they
listened to Him and served Him, not other gods.
When all of humanity had turned from the true God,
Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord.
At the time of the
There are many, many records of God’s deliverance
which He had recorded so we could learn and gather strength from
seeing His mighty power at work.
II Chronicles 20:1-9 Look
at the praise and reminder of what God had already done for His
people.
Let’s look at the timeframe
surrounding when God gave those promises. It was when Solomon had
finished building the
II Chronicles 7:12-22
II Chronicles 20:10-30
Our enemy, the enemy of our spiritual Father
started war.
Revelation 12:7-9 The
bottom line to the cause of war is the adversary. Death and the
power of death are of the adversary, the Devil, Satan.
Hebrews
John 8:44-47 We need to
speak God’s Word to see who is on the true God’s side.
Genesis 4:8 This
happened because spirit got involved. This is our enemy’s true
nature, murder. He will do anything to hinder the purposes of God.
I John 3:8-12 Jesus Christ came to destroy the
works of the devil. He is in us helping us, strengthening us as we
do his work in his stead. God’s power is greater than the devil’s.
I John 4:4 The devil
has made huge mistakes before, starting with thinking he could
overthrow the true God.
Isaiah 14:12-20
[Read Moffat’s]
Another major mistake was when he wrongfully
crucified Jesus Christ.
I Corinthians 2:8 The
devil has had a history of making bad mistakes. It is up to the
knowledgeable believers to show him that he made an incredibly
colossal one again.
He is the one who is responsible for the death of
God’s messengers. He has used his people for years to carry out his
sinister plots against God and the people of God.
Matthew 23:29-39 We are
blessed because we do come in the name of the true God.
II Corinthians
14 God always causes us to triumph.
War stems from a man’s free will to choose to
follow the true God or the adversary, God’s arch enemy. Adam and Eve
chose the latter, and mankind has been in war since. We are not of
this world, but as we pass through, we can make a difference. It is
worth our effort.
Throughout the history of mankind, men and women
have had to rise up at different times to take a stand for the true
God. This is our time. If our country is to continue with the
freedoms we have to safely worship God, it is up to us to do
whatever God needs us to do to preserve these freedoms for our
children if the Lord tarried.
I Corinthians 9:24-27 As
long as Satan is around, there will be war.
James 4:1-4 Are you a
friend of the world?
II Chronicles 16:9 There
will be war at home as long as man serves other gods.
Judges 5:8a “war in the gates” means right at
home, right where they live.
There is protection, there
is safety, for every for every born-again believer in our
administration, just as there was for
Psalm 91:1-16
Some believe that when dangers lurk in war, the
believers die with the unbelievers. The Bible teaches otherwise.
Ecclesiastes
The war on earth ends for us at the time Christ
returns.
I Thessalonians 4:16-17 We
will continue the fight in our spiritual bodies. The spiritual war
finally ends with the destruction of death.
I Corinthians 15:20-26
Once there is a destruction of death, which of
course includes the one who has the power of death, all will be
perfect.
Revelation 21:4 This is
a time worth anticipating. So what do we do? Follow Ezra’s lead.
Ezra 7:8-10 Ezra prepared his heart to do what the
good hand of the Lord wanted. What did he prepare his heart to
do:
1. To seek the law of the Lord. [He sought God’s
Word and Will.]
2. To do it [To act on it once he learned what to
do.]
3. To teach in
II Timothy 1:7 Fear is cowardice. Don’t be a
coward! God is counting on us now. We have the ministry of
reconciliation. We have been chosen to be the part of the Body of
Christ that is alive today to handle what God needs done on earth.
II Timothy 2:1-7; 4:1,2 Now is the time to preach
the Gospel of deliverance to combat the fear the devil has brought
to pass in our country.
3-8 Let us be among
those who love his appearing.
Let’s take a stand. Let’s boldly speak God’s Word
in the name of Jesus Christ. Let’s claim God’s protection and His
blessings in our lives, for our families, our businesses, at our
jobs, knowing that wherever we go and every step we take moves us
closer to the culmination of war.
