The True God

 

Psalm 102:24-27 With His power and by His wisdom he created it all. He has no end.

Psalm  104:24 He is the one true God,, the God of the scriptures.

 

Everyone has a God. In fact, the Bible says that you are a fool if you have no God. Psalm 14:1.

 

Exodus 15:11 The true God is a God of action.

             12:12 He judged the gods of Egypt and was shown to be of much greater power.

             20:1-6 Only one true God. Have no other gods, no imitations before me.

 

Deuteronomy 32:15-18 God calls the false gods devils. 

 

Jeremiah 23:23,24 the true God is near. Why? So he can help.

II Chronicles 16:9

 

Jeremiah 10:1-16 False gods are worthless in times of trouble. II Chronicles 32:15 Hezekiah worshipped the true God and God made sure that he was victorious.

 

Genesis 28:3,4 Almighty God is El Shaddai. The God who protects, defends, and supplies every need the believer has. That is what the true God does on behalf of His people.

 

Numbers 23:19 The true God does not lie.

 

Today this same God is our Father, a God of love and grace. One who is referred to as The Holy Spirit.

 

John 3:16-21 God’s love and goodness toward mankind is shown.

 

Romans 15:13 He is a God of hope.

                 8:31-39 Nothing can separate us from His love.

 

Ephesians 1:3, 7,18;  2:4-7; 3:16-21 4:1-7 He is rich in mercy. We give Him the glory.

 

Hebrews 7:25 He has the ability to save to the uttermost through the completed work of Jesus Christ.

 

I Timothy 2:5 One God, one mediator, the man Jesus Christ.

                  6:17-19 We can trust Him. 

 

James 1:17 I John 1:5 No darkness at all, all light.
