God’s Way of Living
Colossians 3:1-3: NIV
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
We have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into a kingdom of light by the accomplished work of Christ. Our life is now hid in Christ, so let’s seek a thriving relationship with God through the amazing blessings He has made available.
Faithful Stewards is sponsoring a Men’s Advance July 27-29 in Pike National Forest. Set up for camp starts around noon on Friday. We will finish around 11:30 AM on Sunday. The cost is $40 per person. Food and beverage for 5 meals is included starting Friday night. Teachings start at 9 on Saturday morning.
There is a flat, easily accessible, primitive camping area with a small pavilion on it that we will try to secure. If the pavilion is taken we will meet at the campsite next to it; follow the orange cones. The area is primitive: no electricity, running water or RV hookup. There will be two port-a-potties located at the camping site. There are 3 horseshoe pits available and many dirt roads for ATV’s. We are about 20 minutes from Eleven-Mile State Park where fishing with a valid Colorado fishing license is available. Check www.11milesports.com for more info.
Things to consider bringing: Bible, tent, RV, chairs, sunscreen, flashlight, lanterns, toiletries, hat, sweaters/jackets, rain gear, sleeping bags, pillows, snacks, water, towels, awning, camping supplies.

Directions: Interstate 25 through Colorado Springs to exit 141, Highway 24 West. Continue west on Highway 24 through the towns of Woodland Park, Divide, Florissant, and Lake George. Around 7 miles past Lake George you will see a green sign for Round Mountain Camp Ground; then in another mile you will see a brown sign for Tarryall. Then 1.5 miles later or 7/10 of a mile past mile marker 258, you will see a dirt road on the left. Take it. There is no sign, but we will put orange cones there. Stay on the center winding dirt road [park road 860] for 4/10 of a mile, the camping area will be on the right by the pavilion. Pitch your tent or RV just off the road.
